If you could choose anyone for a mentor, who would it be?
Marie Curie

What extracurricular activities are you involved in?
Intramural sports (pickleball, softball, basketball), Euchre club, skiing, and volunteering!       

What do you like most about Madison?
I love the fun atmosphere and all of the campus-wide events!            

What are your favorite snacks for a study session?
Skittles and pretzels!             

If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
I would be a monkey because I think it would be so fun to swing between trees.                          

What is an academic accomplishment that you are proud of?
I am proud of being accepted into the honors program for CALS!            

What are you looking forward to about being a peer leader this semester?
I am looking forward to broadening my leadership skills in the fields of STEM and service.    

What sparked your interest in STEM?
I’ve always loved science, but what really sparked my interest in STEM is the idea that it holds the power to help so many people around the world. New scientific innovations are able to prevent disease, create safer medications, and so much more.  

What is your vision for life after graduation?
After graduation I want to work in a research lab focused on solving health problems affecting people around the world.
