What is your favorite place on campus?
The fields near UW Hospital area
What extracurricular activities are you involved in?
Apart from research in Medical Physics, I am part of the writing team at the Journal club called JUST. I also love to spend time running outdoors, playing badminton, and writing.
What do you like most about Madison?
The perfect mix of urban and small town feeling. Being close to nature, while also embracing the college town and having fun!
If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
I would be a Koala as they can sleep up to 20 hours a day.
What is your hidden talent?
I can easily eat a whole lime as it is, maybe even multiple. I’m invulnerable to its bitterness!
What is an academic accomplishment that you are proud of?
The ability to apply knowledge from different STEM fields in interdisciplinary research, especially in medical imaging and engineering.
What are you looking forward to about being a peer leader this semester?
I love it when I’m able to help people, engage in meaningful conversations, and gain new perspectives. As someone who went through a similar process for finding research, I look forward to guiding students and being a small part of their research journey.
What sparked your interest in STEM?
I was always intrigued by mathematics, but it was not until I learned about its vast real-world applications, that got me into STEM.
What is your vision for life after graduation?
I wish to pursue graduate school in Medical Physics, and hopefully a career in academia or industry. I also want to travel to many different places around the world!
