My parents! They’ve shaped the person I’ve become and opened doors that led me to where I am today.

Alpha Phi, American Medical Women’s Association, Bucky Pre-Health Volunteering Association, and Doctors Without Borders
What do you like most about Madison?
I love sunny days with friends out on the lake!
What are your favorite snacks for a study session?
I can always be found in Memorial Library with a Red Bull and kettle corn PopCorners
What is an academic accomplishment that you are proud of?
Securing a role in my dream lab—the Integrative Systems Neuroimaging Laboratory (ISNL) at the Wisconsin Institutes for Medical Research.
What are you looking forward to about being a peer leader this semester?
I am excited to get to know new students interested in the biosciences and help guide them toward achieving their goals.
What sparked your interest in STEM?
I’ve been a science nerd for as long as I can remember! As a kid, I was always running experiments in my kitchen or playing doctor with my stuffed animals. When I got older and started doing real experiments in my science classes and volunteering at my local hospital, I realized how much I loved STEM and helping others—I knew this was my future!
What is your vision for life after graduation?
After graduation, I hope to attend medical school or continue working in medical research.
