What advice would you give a friend considering becoming a peer leader?
Have an open mind and be willing to bounce ideas off of each other. You are working in a very collaborative and judgement-free environment, so if you come into it ready to work with and learn about your peers, you will be an awesome peer leader!
What have you learned through your experience of being a peer leader?
I have learned skills in working with other peer leaders, how to network with campus faculty, how to facilitate discussions and events, and overall, how to provide a comfortable environment for undergraduate students to connect and create a community.
