Miranda Mellen

Miranda joined the WISCIENCE team in 2023. As one of the Program Coordinators, she works to support the many programs and courses offered through WISCIENCE. Previously, she was a high school biology teacher and enjoys applying her education experience in a different context.

She graduated from University of Wisconsin–River Falls in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and then returned to UWRF to complete a yearlong teaching certification program called STEMteach. Miranda is passionate about STEM education and brings that passion to her Program Coordinator role.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, watching TV, and playing both board games and video games.
