Explore strategies to become a more effective, culturally responsive mentor, and discuss mentoring challenges as they arise.
Because effective mentoring skills are essential for creating welcoming and productive STEM research environments, Advancing Research Mentoring Practice (ARMP) provides a session designed to support faculty and staff in their roles as mentors. The evidence-based curriculum involves facilitated conversations with colleagues using case studies, readings, and personal experiences to strengthen mentoring strategies and create culturally responsive practices.
