What is your favorite place on campus?
Allen Centennial Garden

What do you like most about Madison?
I am always surrounded by people! It reminds me that everyone has their own story.

What are your favorite snacks for a study session?
Goldfish and a Diet Coke

If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
A cat because they have so much personality, but also love a good nap.

What is an academic accomplishment that you are proud of?
I was Salutatorian at my high school.

What sparked your interest in STEM?
My high school science teacher helped me to understand that STEM affects every aspect of life, and if I learn how to effectively use it, I can help many people.

What is your vision for life after graduation?
I’m beyond excited to begin teaching after I graduate, and I hope to move to different parts of the U.S.

What advice would you give a friend considering becoming a peer leader?
It might seem intimidating at first, but just be yourself. You aren’t there to be friends with students (though it is a plus), you’re there to mentor them.

What have you learned through your experience of being a peer leader?
I have gained so much confidence in my ability to lead. This experience has allowed me to be myself in front of others.
