My parents! They have always set the best example of hard work and kindness.
What is your favorite place on campus?
The Discovery Building!
What extracurricular activities are you involved in?
I am an undergraduate researcher. I’m also interested in getting involved in the Wisconsin Women’s Pre-Med Association (WWPA).
What do you like most about Madison?
It’s a vibrant, yet a calm place to live.
What are your favorite snacks for a study session?
Popcorn and a Fruit Punch’r Bubbl’r.
What is an academic accomplishment that you are proud of?
I am proud of being in the CALS Honors in Research program!
What are you looking forward to about being a peer leader this semester?
I am looking forward to interacting with and guiding other peers passionate about STEM. I believe it is very rewarding to be a positive role model for younger peers interested in this field.
What sparked your interest in STEM?
As a child, I’ve always loved science. On birthdays, I would ask for toy chemistry sets! I was naturally led to take science classes later on and discover my interest further.
What is your vision for life after graduation?
I plan to go to Medical School.
