If you could choose anyone for a mentor, who would it be?
I would choose to be mentored by Dr. Andrew Huberman. His ability to share science in an accessible and exciting manner is a skill I hope to cultivate.

What is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place to be is Memorial Union Terrace with friends.

What do you like most about Madison?
The abundance of outdoor activities. With the Lakeshore Path, Arboretum Trail, Capital City Trail, and both lakes, getting fresh air is easy.

What are your favorite snacks for a study session?
It is hard to beat an overabundance of coffee.

What is your hidden talent?
I am conversationally fluent in German.

What is an academic accomplishment that you are proud of?
I am very proud of my work at the Anderson Lab here at UW-Madison. Through my experience, I have grown as a scientist from following protocols to contributing independently to novel discoveries.

What sparked your interest in STEM?
My interest in STEM was sparked by my curiosity in understanding how chemistry, on the smallest level, leads to all of life.

What is your vision for life after graduation?
I am currently unsure of the way it will be, but I hope to utilize my background in STEM to help others.

What advice would you give a friend considering becoming a peer leader?
Make the most of the opportunity. Being a peer leader is an opportunity to help others find rewarding experiences in STEM. Sometimes all it takes is a little support that we as peer leaders may be able to offer.

What have you learned through your experience of being a peer leader?
I am very inspired the the depth and range of interests, talents, and experiences of my peers.
