What are you looking forward to doing in this program?
I am really excited about designing and teaching course materials that allow students to practice scientific thinking and experience the feeling of discovery.
What are some of your career goals and how do you think this program will help you achieve them?
I would like to have a position where I can help welcome people into science and equip them to become excellent researchers. I think this program will really give me an opportunity to focus on my teaching and mentoring skills and give me tools to improve them.
What excites you about teaching?
Being a teacher is such a valuable opportunity to participate in a student’s growth. It’s extremely rewarding to help students learn how to solve difficult problems on their own, and to see their confidence in their critical thinking abilities grow.
