I’m currently involved in the MadHatters, and I’m interested in getting involved in AMSA (American Medical Student Association), and Bucky Pre-Health Volunteering!

What do you like most about Madison?
I love just how lively and welcoming the city is. There’s so much to do, so many people to meet, and so many places to explore!

What are your favorite snacks for a study session?
A cold Twisted Elix’r Bubblr and some Skinny Pop popcorn.

What is an academic accomplishment that you are proud of?
Making the Dean’s List my first semester here at UW-Madison!

What are you looking forward to about being a peer leader this semester?
I can’t wait to be a part of a diverse and welcoming community of like-minded individuals, and I can’t wait to meet a bunch of new faces, build strong connections with others, refine my leadership skills and contribute to the greater good!

What sparked your interest in STEM?
I’ve been interested in science since the day I could talk. I would always ask my parents to get me science experiment kits from Walmart every time we’d go grocery shopping, and science and the fields of STEM have fascinated me for as long as I can remember. I also knew I wanted to pursue something in the medical field, and wanted to have a career that made a difference!

What is your vision for life after graduation?
My vision for life after graduation is to go to medical school on a pediatrician track, as I aspire to become a pediatrician when I grow up. If I don’t go to medical school after graduation, I plan to do some traveling and see the world!
