What are you looking forward to about being a peer leader this semester?
I’m excited to gain new perspectives from fellow students while also sharing the valuable insights and strategies I’ve learned. I believe that learning is a two-way process, and I look forward to exchanging knowledge and experiences to support each other’s growth.
What is an academic accomplishment that you are proud of?
Overcoming self-doubt in challenging courses through consistent effort has been one of my most rewarding academic experiences. By staying disciplined, seeking help when needed, and embracing a growth mindset, I’ve learned to push past obstacles and develop confidence in my abilities.
What sparked your interest in STEM?
My first experience of a challenging STEM course was AP Biology class in high school, which created challenging and engaging projects that pushed me to think critically and deepen my understanding of the world around me. These sparked my curiosity and passion for science and left me wanting to dive deeper and be challenged more.
What is your vision for life after graduation?
Plan to take 1 or 2 gap years to work in research and then medical school.
