What is your favorite place on campus?

What extracurricular activities are you involved in?
AHANA-MAPS, African Student Association

What do you like most about Madison?
No matter where you are, you’re only a few minutes away from a lake   

What are your favorite snacks for a study session?
Blueberry Lemon Luna Bars, Bubbl’r  

If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
I’d be an elephant! They’re brilliant and free 

What is your hidden talent?
I’ve never lost a song association game  

What is an academic accomplishment that you are proud of?
I was a Global Gateway Scholar in 2023 and got to study abroad in Gaborone and Johannesburg!

What sparked your interest in STEM?
Principles of Biomedical Sciences class in my freshman year of high school   

What is your vision for life after graduation?
I plan to spend my gap year doing research at WashU in St. Louis, then apply to medical school.

What advice would you give a friend considering becoming a peer leader?
Go for it! Keegan [Buscaino, WISCIENCE Program Coordinator] is a great person and resource, and you’ll meet lots of cool people. 

What have you learned through your experience of being a peer leader?
I’ve learned that community isn’t found—it’s built.
