What do you like most about Madison?
I love being able to walk everywhere and I enjoy running on the trails.
What are your favorite snacks for a study session?
Twizzlers, Sour Gummy Worms, and an Iced Americano
What is your hidden talent?
Using movie quotes in regular conversations
What is an academic accomplishment that you are proud of?
Learning about the Brady test and Wittig reaction in Organic Chemistry
What sparked your interest in STEM?
My interest in STEM was sparked in elementary school when I did my own science experiment for our school’s Science Fair.
What is your vision for life after graduation?
I want to be a science teacher!
What advice would you give a friend considering becoming a Peer Leader?
Be yourself and always keep an open mind.
What have you learned through your experience of being a Peer Leader?
Being a Peer Leader has taught me the importance of reflection. Having a better understanding of who I am and what makes me “me” has made it easier to help others on their journey in STEM at UW-Madison.
