What extracurricular activities are you involved in?
HEAL (a prehealth student org)

What do you like most about Madison?
The lakes around us!

What are your favorite snacks for a study session?
Beef jerky and almonds

What is your hidden talent?
I can backwards skate.

What is an academic accomplishment that you are proud of?
I would say getting into Madison as a first-year student.

What sparked your interest in STEM?
My spark in STEM stems from my grandmother’s ability, as a shaman, to heal others spiritually and physically. She was a big role model growing up and made me intrigued by primary care and STEM overall.

What is your vision for life after graduation?
Medical school and traveling!

What advice would you give a friend considering becoming a peer leader?
Become friends with everyone!

What have you learned through your experience of being a peer leader?
Being independent and surrounding yourself with happiness and positivity in order to become a Peer Leader mentor to others.
