A medical student.
What is your favorite place on campus?
Memorial Union.
What extracurricular activities are you involved in?
Sports Medicine and Athletic Healthcare Club (SMAHC) and Indian music.
What do you like most about Madison?
Farmer’s Market on the square.
What are your favorite snacks for a study session?
Dot’s Pretzels.
What is an academic accomplishment that you are proud of?
My design group won the Tong Design Award last year for our project.
What sparked your interest in STEM?
My middle school science symposium project introduced me to the complex and multifaceted nature of STEM.
What is your vision for life after graduation?
I would like to eventually become a physician while continuing to work as a biomedical design engineer.
What advice would you give a friend considering becoming a peer leader?
Everyone learns in a different way. Be ready to change up your strategy and constantly reassess how it is going.
What have you learned through your experience of being a peer leader?
I have learned to appreciate how different people can excel and struggle at different points with the same problem.
