Michelle Obama.

What is your favorite place on campus?
The Lakeshore Path.

What extracurricular activities are you involved in?
Slow Food UW, Japanese Student Association, and Triathlon Club.

What are your favorite snacks for a study session?
Bobo’s Oat Bites and a Honeycrisp Apple

If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
A cat because I enjoy a good nap.

What is an academic accomplishment that you are proud of?
Getting the Hilldale Research Fellowship.

What sparked your interest in STEM?
My really passionate chemistry teacher in high school.

What is your vision for life after graduation?
Going to graduate school to study Pharmaceutical Sciences.

What advice would you give a friend considering becoming a peer leader?
WISCIENCE peer leaders have a big influence in the STEM spaces on campus, so lead by example!

What have you learned through your experience of being a peer leader?
The importance of making STEM research feel more approachable and accessible to all.
