Explore strategies to become a more effective, culturally responsive mentor, and discuss mentoring challenges as they arise.
Because effective mentoring skills are essential for creating welcoming and productive STEM research environments, Advancing Research Mentoring Practice (ARMP) provides a series of sessions designed to support faculty and staff in their roles as mentors. The evidence-based curriculum involves facilitated conversations with colleagues using case studies, readings, and personal experiences to strengthen mentoring strategies and create culturally responsive practices.
Directions:
To reach Room 3280 (Orchard View Room), take the elevators or stairs near Aldo’s Cafe up to the third floor on the east side of the building.
