STEM Immersion: WISCIENCE Welcome

WISCIENCE STEM Immersion welcomes and prepares first-year undergraduates and returning students for success at UW–Madison through cultivating a STEM-focused community and continual learning environment. STEM Immersion aims to facilitate the transition and persistence of STEM students by offering opportunities and experiences to discover, engage, and integrate into the intellectual, cultural, and social facets of the STEM community at UW-Madison.

STEM Immersion: Climate Solutions Workshop

Wisconsin Energy Institute 1552 University Ave, Madison

In partnership with the Wisconsin Energy Institute, WISCIENCE will host an interactive and engaging conversation on climate solutions using the cutting-edge computer modeling software, En-ROADS. This simulation allows participants to test climate change solutions such as energy supply, economic growth, land use, and other policies in order to deepen understanding of how these systems interact, and to spur climate action.
