If you could choose anyone to be a mentor to you, who would it be?
If I could be mentored by anyone, I would have to choose Whitney Simmons. Not only is she a fitness influencer, but she promotes body positivity and confidence to everyone and anyone. She is passionate about health and wellness and the importance of exercise. She is relatable and has a contagious sense of humor.

What is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place on campus is Memorial Union Terrace because I love to watch the sunset and it is my favorite place to just sit back and take a break.

What extracurricular activities are you involved in?
I am involved in Student Leadership Program where I am a teacher for the Emerging Leaders Program. I really enjoy this club because it allows me to improve my leadership skills, but also helps others to improve their skills at the same time.

What do you like most about Madison?
My favorite part about Madison is the community. I love how welcoming the city is with events and social spots.

What are your favorite snacks for a study session?
My go-to snack would definitely have to be Smartfood White Cheddar Popcorn.

What is an academic accomplishment that you are proud of?
I have been on the Dean’s List every semester and I take great pride in that.

What have you learned through your experience of being a peer leader?
Being a peer leader allowed me to grow my facilitation skills, which I applied to other student organizations and will apply to my future career as a Physician Assistant. I loved being a resource to students as they transitioned to college, while they helped me to see different perspectives and learn new things every day.

What sparked your interest in STEM?
I have been interested in STEM for as long as I can remember, but I think it was sparked by the applicability that STEM has throughout our lives.

What is your vision for life after graduation?
After graduation, I will be attending PA school, where I hope to become a provider who listens and builds relationships with their patients. I also hope to have a family and travel the country!
