Consulting for Science Faculty/Staff

Institute staff members offer one‐on‐one consulting for UW‐Madison educators in the sciences. Examples of services include: confidential classroom observation and feedback on teaching, integration of technology into the classroom, development of innovative teaching approaches that help students learn better, creation of inclusive classrooms, use of classroom assessment to improve student learning, evaluation of a teaching program or grant proposal, consideration of future career options and issues related to tenure, writing an effective "Broader Impact" section for an NSF grant proposal, and Small Group Instructional Diagnosis (SGID)— confidential feedback on strengths and areas for possible change in your teaching, based on a consensus message from your students.
